The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Tennis team started the F-R-C-C portion of its’ schedule yesterday with a 6-1 victory over Sheboygan South. The Ships (now 7-3) picked up singles match wins from Kendra Peterson, Delaney Brockman, and Sophia Wergin. Winning doubles matches for Lincoln were Isabella Wergin & Elsie Steimle, McKenna Pleuss & Brenna Braun, and Clara Powalisz & Josie Decker. Coach Jacques Verbauwhede said his netters return to conference action with a match next Tuesday at Bay Port.
Meanwhile in non-conference Girls Volleyball last night, it was Two Rivers defeating Sheboygan South 3 games to 2.
