Christian Yelich homered to tie the game in the ninth inning, but took a called third strike with the tying and winning runs on base in the 10th as Milwaukee dropped a 3-2 decision to Houston Monday. Astros outfielder George Springer won the game by hitting his 30th home run off Brewers reliever Junior Guerra in the top of the 10th. Milwaukee failed to build on two shutout victories over the weekend and fell farther behind in the chase for an N-L wild card spot. The two teams wrap up their interleague series at Miller Park with Jordan Lyles starting for the Brewers this evening, with a first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM. Pregame coverage on 1240 AM WOMT will begin at 6:05 PM.
