Over half a million Ford vehicles have been recalled because the seat backs may not properly restrain people in a crash. The recalled vehicles include certain 2018-2020 F-150 pickup trucks, 2019 and 2020 Super Duty trucks, 2018 and 2019 Explorer SUVs, 2019 and 2020 Expedition SUVs, and some 2020 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator SUVs, all of which have manual seat back recliners. If you have any of these vehicles, you are encouraged to go to your local Ford Dealership to have your seat inspected. Ford Motor Company says that they expect most of them to pass the inspection, but drivers should have them inspected anyway for their safety.
