U-S Senator Tammy Baldwin says Wisconsin is getting nearly $5.2 million to fight the state’s opioid epidemic. The funds are being awarded to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services from the C-D-C’s “Overdose to Action” program. This money will support the collection of high-quality data on overdose morbidity and mortality to inform local prevention and response efforts. Baldwin said she worked in a bipartisan way “to make sure local communities in Wisconsin have the federal resources they need to support local prevention, treatment and recovery efforts.”
