On Tuesday, September 3 at 2:07 AM the Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received a call from an employee at the Kwik Trip located on North Avenue, reporting that the store had been robbed. According to the report, the man who was responsible for the crime was armed and had made efforts to conceal his identity. After the event, the suspect fled the immediate area on foot and was gone when law enforcement arrived.
The employees that were working at the store were not injured during the robbery. The suspect was able to flee with an undetermined amount of cash. Nothing else was taken during the robbery. Officers and Detectives continue to follow up on leads in this investigation and more information may be released when it is available.
The Kwik Trip Store remains open for business at this time. Law enforcement believes this is an isolated incident and not related to any other known events. Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department at (920)459-3333.
