Road Construction Projects to be Aware of

County Highway X in the Town of Centerville will close effective Tuesday, September 3rd for approximately two months. Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner Marc Holsen says contractors will be performing a bridge replacement east of State Highway 42 between Range Line and South Union Road. The posted detour route will be State Highway 42 to County Highway C to County Highway LS. Meanwhile—Governor Evers has approved more than $400 thousand to improve the County Highway FF bridge in Manitowoc County. Work scheduled to begin next Tuesday includes a concrete overlay of the bridge deck—beam guard replacement—slope paving and pavement markings. FF will be closed with no detour posted as traffic will be able to utilize crossings on I-43 north and south of the construction zone. Work is expected to be completed sometime in October.
