Sixth District Republican Congressman Glenn Grothman reacted with surprise to 7th district colleague, Sean Duffy’s decision to resign from his congressional seat. Duffy explained that he wants to help his wife Rachel, a Fox News contributor, care for their 9th child, due in October, that’s been diagnosed with a heart defect. Grothman said given the situation, “I can understand why he decided to take a step back for a while. It’s unfortunate.”
Grothman from Glenbeulah was a live guest yesterday morning of John Foster on WOMT’s “Just the Facts” program. Governor Tony Evers will now schedule a special election to fill the vacancy.
