Wisconsin Hockey Plays Exhibition Games In British Columbia Starting Friday

With most of his players barely turning 18 years old, Wisconsin hockey coach Tony Granato wants to get them as much ice time as possible before the regular season starts in October.  The Badgers are traveling to Canada this weekend for a two-game exhibition series at the University of British Columbia.  Seven freshmen are on the U-W roster.  N-C-A-A rules allow college hockey teams to go on a foreign tour once every four years during the academic summer vacation.
