
The Roncalli Jets received votes in the inaugural Associated Press High School Football Poll. The Jets are joined by Hilbert in the Small Division rankings as the Wolves are rated 8th by the statewide panel of sportswriters who cover the game. Racine Lutheran is number one while the Ledgers of St. Mary’s Springs are tied with Mineral Point for sixth.
In the Medium Division Kiel, Cedar Grove Belgium and Xavier (Appleton) all received votes. Waukesha Catholic Memorial is first, Wrightstown sixth, Notre Dame of the FRCC is ninth while the Freedom Irish are tied with New Berlin West for tenth.
In the Large Division, FRCC power Bay Port received one first-place vote and are ranked fourth. Muskego is number one Kimberly is second Fond Du Lac is ranked fifth while West De Pere and Appleton North received votes.
