U-S Senator Ron Johnson is going to miss out on a visit to Russia as part of a congressional delegation. The Wisconsin Republican says he was denied a visa by the Russian government. The news release from Johnson’s Washington office doesn’t say when he had planned to travel there, who else was a part of the delegation and what reason was given for the denial. He says he has supported bills in the past which would hold that country accountable for its aggression in Ukraine and its actions targeting dissidents.
