The Manitowoc Lincoln girls tennis team was 3-and-oh Saturday at the Raider/Trojan Invite in Wauwatosa. Ships coach Jacque Verbauwhede tells SeehaferNews.com his squad defeated Appleton West 6-1, Appleton North 5-2 and then topped Wauwatosa East 6-1. Lincoln’s top 3 singles players all went 3-0 on the day including Kendra Peterson, Caroline Ramminger and Delaney Brockman. In #3 doubles competition: Clara Powalisz & Josie Decker won 2 matches with Eliza Robertson & Emma Auspring capturing their only match at 3-doubles.
The Ships (4-2) are scheduled to travel to Green Bay today & tomorrow for the Southwest Super 16 Tournament.
