An Illinois judge says he doesn’t believe the story of memory lapse offered by a Wisconsin man. He found 70-year-old Frank Buschauer guilty Friday of causing his wife’s drowning death 19 years ago. Buschauer had moved to Pell Lake, Wisconsin by the time the case was reopened in 2013. Forensic pathologists determined the death of Cynthia Hrisco was homicide. Buschauer’s attorney says an appeal will be filed.
