The Miss Green Bay Area Organization is looking for the next Miss Green Bay Area and Outstanding Teen to be an ambassador for the area and represent Northeast Wisconsin at the state competitions – the state finals for Miss America & Miss America’s Outstanding Teen!
The Miss Green Bay Area competition is open to women ages 17 to 25, and the Teen competition is open to women ages 13 to 17. Participants must have residency, attend school or be employed fulltime in Brown County; or a county directly adjacent to it, including: Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Oconto, Outagamie and Shawano Counties. No experience is necessary. The not for profit organization offers free preparation help prior to the competition on February 1, 2020! Various scholarships and prizes will be awarded to the candidates.
The Miss Green Bay Area Scholarship Program provides opportunities for women to make a difference in their community and promote a social impact initiative they believe in. By preparing for the competition, participants develop professional skills, while earnings scholarship money to further their education. The Outstanding Teen pageant encourages positive achievement while helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement of our youth.
Participation fosters skills and confidence to shine in other areas of life including job interview and performance, leadership, and personal health.
