Work starts soon on expanded practice space for the basketball teams at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Funding was included in the state’s 2019-2021 capital budget. The addition to the Klotsche Center will connect to the east side of the U-W-M Pavilion. Crowding has been a problem when the Panther teams need to practice at the same time there are student recreational activities. Plans for the work were announced Wednesday.
