De Pere Woman Uses Sister’s Suicide to Raise Awareness

As we have reported several times in the past, depression, and suicide is an issue that impacts more people than many realize. One person it has effected directly is 47 year old De Pere resident Linda Steber. Linda lost her sister Jeannine to suicide in February of 2018, but has taken her grief and channeled it into a way to help others. Linda joined forces with family and friends to create a music album themed around suicide and depression.  Many people contribute their voices to the album, including Jeannine. The album is currently on sale at LostBySuicide.com, with proceeds going to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
