Here’s something you don’t get everyday. Wisconsin Public Service has announced that they will be refunding customers on their electric bills this fall. The $7.1 million in refunds stem from the lower than expected fuel cost last year. Customers will receive a credit of $0.00876 per kilowatt-hour for September’s energy use last year, which will appear on your bill either in September or October. The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin sets WPS fuel cost rates one year in advance based on forecasted fuel costs.
