The High School Football season officially gets underway tonight with 5 games to be played in the Fox River Classic Conference. The ballgame of local interest has Manitowoc Lincoln traveling to Bay Port for a battle against the 2-time defending league champion Pirates. It marks the head coaching debut of new Shipbuilders’ head coach, Greg Enz. You can hear the Lincoln Bay Port matchup on AM 980-WCUB, with the broadcast starting at 6:45.
Other opening night games in the FRCC have Sheboygan North at Notre Dame, Sheboygan South visits Pulaski, De Pere goes to Green Bay Preble, and Ashwaubenon is at Green Bay Southwest.
