A three-run homer by Mike Moustakas was the big blow in a four-run first inning as the Milwaukee Brewers salvaged the last game of the series at St. Louis Wednesday 5-3. Rain shortened the contest to eight innings. Keston Hiura drove in the Brewer’s other two runs as they knocked the Cardinals out of first place in the National League Central Division. Adrian Houser got the win. The Brewers trail Chicago by three-and-a-half games. They return home to Miller Park tomorrow, after a day off today, with Jordan Lyles starting the first game of a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
