A Madison man tells police he attacked his longtime drinking buddy because the other man doesn’t pay his fair share when they buy alcohol. Carl D. Moore of Madison is accused of slicing the victim with a boxcutter Monday afternoon. The other man’s name hasn’t been released and he wasn’t seriously injured. Moore is charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct while armed. The men say they have known each other for decades and they grew up together in Indiana.
