The Brown County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a dangerous high speed wrong way pursuit late last week. It all began when a report was called into 911 saying there was a dangerous driver on the road in De Pere. Officers began to chase the driver, later identified as Johnathan Tease, after he drove south, turned around near Kaukauna, and came back north on I-41. Deputies attempted to deflate Tease’s tires, but he was able to avoid their equipment. As the chase made its way onto I-43, Tease crossed through the median and into oncoming traffic. He eventually exited the highway using an on ramp, and deputies were able to spin his truck out, and take Tease into custody. Tease is now facing a litany of charges, including his 2nd OWI offense, resisting, and fleeing.
