Fatal Boat Accident Reported On North Fork Flambeau River

A 59-year-old Franklin man has died in a boat accident on the North Fork Flambeau River in the Township of Lake.  No names have been released.  The Price County Sheriff’s Office says the victim and a 58-year-old woman, also from Franklin, were in the boat when it hit a submerged object.  The dead man wasn’t wearing a personal flotation device when the accident happened.
