Two Cancer victim Golf fundraisers will combine their efforts this Saturday at Wander Springs. Music is the Cure, Inc. is teaming up with the Linda Dworak Memorial Golf Outing for the 15th annual charity event. Bob Nelson, a co-founder of the Dworak Memorial activity said he and his team have raised upwards of $150-thousand dollars for various organizations & local cancer victims.
Meanwhile, Music is the Cure began 6-years ago to help out fellow musicians dealing with health issues and with its’ 501(c)3 non-profit designation has generated around $50,000.
Nelson says 18-teams have entered Saturday’s outing with a 12:30 shotgun start. There’s still room for more golfers, and for $85.00 you receive golf with a cart, lunch, door prizes and a steak dinner.
