Packers Suddenly Need Help At Inside Linebacker Position

An injury to second-year linebacker Oren Burks means the Green Bay Packers are currently stuck with four inexperienced and unproven players at a critical position.  If Burks has a torn pectoral muscle, he will be out for the season.  The inside linebacker position was already the thinnest position on the roster behind starter Blake Martinez.  Several free agents are just waiting for a call — and the 2019 N-F-L season is less than a month away.  Green Bay currently has two open roster spots.
