The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced recently that based on results from a recent procurement, Inclusa and Lakeland Care managed care organizations (MCO) have been selected to provide the Family Care program. These organizations, located throughout Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, and Shawano counties will begin providing the program beginning January 1st. Incumbent managed care organization Care Wisconsin will no longer provide the program in those counties after December 31st. In the months leading up to the January 2020 transition, Care Wisconsin members will receive one-on-one counseling from either an Aging and Disability Resource Center or a Tribal Aging and Disability Resource Specialist to make informed decisions about their future services.
