The 16th annual Brutal Wear Tennis Tournament gets underway today at Lincoln Park in Manitowoc. This year’s tournament features a variety of players from 14 to 70 years of age. The number one seeded player is Noah Schacter, currently playing for Texas A & M. The number two seed is ATP tour player Jordan Parker of Detroit.
Singles action began at 9 AM this morning, with doubles following this afternoon and evening. Play will continue all day on Saturday. The tournament is scheduled to wrap up Sunday.
Attendance is free, with food and refreshments available on the grounds.
