Packers Cut Ties With OL Jason Spriggs

Three years after he was taken in the second round of the N-F-L Draft, Jason Spriggs has been waived by Green Bay.  Spriggs has been dealing with a trap muscle injury and if no one claims him, he will go on I-R.  He would likely receive an injury buyout.  For now, the Packers seemed to be giving undrafted free agent Alex Light the chance to take over Spriggs’ position as a backup tackle, filling in primarily for injury-plagued, but talented Bryan Bulaga.
