A woman in the town of Columbus was trapped in her bedroom Sunday when an out-of-control car came through the wall. No names have been released, but she and the driver of the car were injured. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says the 30-year-old driver from Waterloo was drunk. Investigators say alcohol and speed were factors in the accident which left that house heavily damaged.
