Summer has flown by and it is already time for high school football to get underway. Yesterday afternoon the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships had their first meeting of the season. During the informational meeting, they received equipment and had their first workout. New Coach Greg Enz spoke to the players, letting them know exactly what he expected of them, and introduced the coaching staff. Joining the coaching staff this year, and coming out of retirement to do so is Lincoln Alumni, and former nose tackle for the Ships, Biff Hanson. We hope to meet up with Coach Enz at the Ships practice this afternoon, to get a better feel for what his plans are for his first year.
