Sheboygan County is about to have some more international travelers visiting their communities. The Sheboygan County Memorial Airport has earned the designation of a “user fee” airport, meaning they have been granted the ability to accept international flights, for a fee. One major change does have to be added to the airport, however, and that is a nearly $4 million customs and visitors center. The Sheboygan County air travel station is one of only two user fee airports in the state, plus the three regular ports of entry in Green Bay, Racine, and Milwaukee.
