The first court date for the Two Rivers woman facing child neglect and human trafficking charges is scheduled for this Friday. 26-year-old Christine Macias-Martinez was arrested last week after an investigation revealed that she would arrange sexual encounters for men that she communicated with on social media. Witness interviews in the complaint also stated that she would talk about having sex for money, hit her two children and leave them so she could participate in prostitution, drug use and daily drinking. Macias-Martinez faces up to 37 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
