Last weekend we reported on a scam that rears its head every summer, where fraudsters will go to people’s homes and offer to blacktop the homeowner’s driveway, but will either not do it, or will use subpar materials, leaving the driveway in disrepair. An elderly couple in Brown County fell victim to the scam, and the Sheriff’s Department is now asking for the public’s help in locating the scammers. The suspects were last seen in a black truck that appears to be a Ford in photos released by the Department.
