Green Bay police have arrested a 20-year-old city man following a Hit & Run crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian about 10:00 o’clock last night. The victim, a 26 year old Green Bay male, was struck at Dousman & North Broadway Street on the near west side, and the motorist then drove away. The pedestrian whose name is not being released pending notification of family was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police were notified of a reckless driver by other motorists shortly after the accident. The suspect vehicle was stopped and found to have damage consistent with that of the hit-and-run. The 20 year old driver was taken into custody and jailed for OWI causing Great Bodily Harm, as well as Hit & Run Causing Injury. The intersection has since been reopened to traffic and both the Brown County and Green Bay Accident Reconstruction Teams helped in processing the scene of the crash.
