More information is now available regarding the crash that occurred in the Town of Harrison on Monday Night. Authorities are saying that a truck being driven by a 17-year-old male from Kaukauna crashed into the Village Hall at around 11:30 PM, creating a huge hole in the side of the building. The truck had actually punctured the wall completely and was inside the structure. Investigators estimate the teen was traveling at speeds of about 70 MPH at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs have been ruled out as potential causes, but Harrison Police Lieutenant Eric Voland said that “poor decision making was a contributing factor.” Harrison Village Manager Travis Parish reported that the hole is patched up, and they are “working with the insurance company,” and are “in the process of getting estimates to get it fixed, but it was pretty extensive.”
