The Milwaukee Brewers have added pitcher Jordan Lyles to their 25-man roster for a second time. Milwaukee traded minor league pitcher Cody Ponce to Pittsburgh for Lyles in a deal announced Monday. The Brewers also traded for the right-hander last season and he pitched 16-plus innings in 11 games for the team down the stretch on the way to the playoffs.
The Brewers are back in action tonight with a late start against the Athletics. First pitch is scheduled for 9:05, with Adrian Hauser facing off against Chris Bassit. Pregame coverage on 1240 AM WOMT will begin at 8:35 PM. Lyles will join Milwaukee for the series in Oakland, possibly starting Wednesday or Thursday.
