Boy In Wheelchair Killed When Hit By Van In Marathon County

A Marshfield parking lot accident has left a 10-year-old boy sitting in a wheelchair dead.  The incident happened on Saturday morning.  Marshfield police say the controls of a handicap-accessible van were inadvertently activated, causing it to back up and hit Micha LaSee.  The boy was taken to Marshfield Medical Center where he died later that day.  Authorities say an autopsy will be performed. The operator of the van was not related to Micah, nor was the vehicle involved.
