Update 7/30/19: Both the owner and the dog have been identified and the dog in question has been placed under quarantine.
Update 7/29/19: As of this time, the police believe they know the identity of the dog owner. Officers would like to speak to the owner as soon as possible. The victim, a 58-year-old Green Bay resident, will likely need surgery to repair his ear.
On July 29th, 2019, at 11:43 am, Green Bay Police were dispatched to Paul’s Pantry, 1520 Leo Frigo Way, for a medical complaint where a male was bitten by a dog. The victim sustained a significant ear injury with the bottom portion of the male’s right ear bitten off by the dog. The victim did not know who the dog belonged to. This incident happened as the victim was loading groceries into a vehicle. We believe this dog was black in color, medium-sized, and belonged in an older silver Pontiac, with unknown plates.
