Bail was set at $500 cash for a 20-year-old Manitowoc man facing several charges following a short foot chase early this morning near the UW-Green Bay-Manitowoc Campus. Kameron B. Seal is charged with one count of felony bail jumping, one count of misdemeanor bail jumping, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana second offense.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was patrolling the area and noticed a group of six people huddled around a black backpack which was discarded upon approach. They dispersed with Seal eventually admitting that “Dabs” (a type of marijuana with a high THC content) were in his backpack. A subsequent search revealed that he had brass knuckles and a butterfly knife on his person.
Conditions of bail are that Seal maintains absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol and not possess any weapons. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for August 5th.
