
A 19-year-old Manitowoc man sustained life-threatening injuries in a stabbing incident early yesterday afternoon on the southside of Two Rivers. Police were called to a residence there shortly after 1:00, but the suspect had already fled the area. Assistant Police Chief Brian Kohlmeier said information led officers to another south-side location where an 18-year-old man was arrested. The 19-year-old victim in the altercation was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds, before being transferred to another medical facility. The suspect was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail for Bail Jumping with charges related to the stabbing yet to be filed. The investigation is ongoing & no further information is being released. Two Rivers Police & Fire Department personnel were called to the scene and received assistance from the County Sheriff’s Office.
