A portion of I-43 South was closed late yesterday morning after a vehicle towing a camper rolled over. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department issued a release, which says that the incident occurred at around 11:40 AM. A large gust of wind hit the camper, causing the 80-year-old female driver to lose control of the vehicle, rolling the unit and ejecting the driver. The unnamed woman was transported to Theda Clark Hospital via Flight for Life, while her 62-year-old passenger received minor injuries and was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital in an Orange Cross Ambulance. No word on the condition of the driver at this time. The incident was cleared and traffic was flowing freely by 2:30 PM.
