Former Wausau Doctor Could Go To Prison For 4 Years

When he is sentenced in October, a former doctor in the Wausau area could get a prison term of up to four years.  Thomas Strick pleaded guilty to five counts of prescription fraud in federal court Thursday.  He had been accused of writing prescriptions for fentanyl patches for patients who didn’t need them.  He allegedly offered the patients free home care if they returned the patches to him for his personal use.
