The Wednesday hearing in Racine County Circuit Court for accused cop killer Dalquavis Ward was over in just a couple of minutes. The 26-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of shooting Officer John Hetland to death during an attempted armed robbery last month. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing with Racine Police Chief Art Howell and more than two dozen of his officers in the courtroom. Ward is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and he has an arraignment set for August 7th.
