The Department of Infrastructure has reported to the Manitowoc Police Department that several of their yield” signs have been stolen. Between July 12th and July 17th seven temporary “yield” signs were stolen from various construction locations throughout the city. Those locations include:
– 953 N. 10th St
– Lincoln Blvd/New York Ave.
– N. 10th St /New York Ave.
– N. 6th St/Pine St to New York Ave.
– S. 23rd St/Dewey St to Viebahn St.
– N. 10th St/New York St (2 different times / signs stolen)
– S. 15th St/Franklin St.
The Yield signs are placed around construction areas, where the roadway is made into a one-lane road for a short period of time. Only the signs are being stolen and the removable stand legs are being left on the roadway.
