Doctor Pleads To Lesser Charge In Death Of 20-Month-Old Son

A former doctor in Wisconsin’s Northwoods has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in connection with his 20-month-old son’s death. Trung Tran originally faced two felony charges of child abuse. His wife, Ellen Tran, was caring for the boy at the time he died and she is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence. Trung Tran will spend two weeks in jail after pleading guilty to resisting or obstructing an officer.
