American Legion Baseball Results

The Manitowoc American Legion varsity baseball team posted a 2-and-2 record over the weekend at the Plover Tournament.  Coach Kevin Stangel’s team was defeated by Eau Claire in the opening game Friday, 8-nothing, but rebounded for a 9-to-5 decision over Rock County later in the afternoon. Then Saturday, Legion Post-88 topped Watertown, 12-to-1, in their first game of the day..before falling to Superior 5-to-2 that evening.  The American Legion squad now competes in the Regional Tournament at Green Bay Southwest on Friday.  Their first opponent is Bay Port.
