Attorneys for former Badger football player Quintez Cephus will be allowed to call a rape crisis advocate as a witness at his trial later this month. Cephus is charged with the sexual assault of two U-W students at his apartment last year. His attorney says a transcript of rape crisis advocate Valarie Johnson’s interview with one of the women shows Johnson influenced the student’s responses. Cephus participated in Thursday’s hearing by telephone while he is in Georgia. His trial is set for July 29th.
