Several students from 8 Green Bay area schools will be putting their artwork on display during the upcoming Tall Ships festival in Green Bay. The students all received a sail from Dorsal Sails and Canvas, to decorate as part of the Art in the Schools project. The sails will be shown at the festival, which runs from July 2th through the 28th at Leicht Memorial Park in Green Bay, collecting votes for the best design. The winning school will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the PMI Entertainment Group Foundation for their art department. The schools competing include Algoma, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, Green Bay West, Oneida Nation, and Sturgeon Bay High Schools, the John Dewey Academy of Learning, and Notre Dame Academy.
