The prosecution has rested and the man accused of killing Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner will take the stand in his own defense today (Friday). Homicide defendants rarely give testimony when they are on trial. Jordan Fricke will tell the court he opened fire last February because he thought he was being robbed. Rittner and other law enforcement officers were serving a search warrant at a Milwaukee duplex looking for evidence of the illegal sale of guns.
