An Outagamie County woman had the shock of her life on Tuesday, when she found a ram in front of her home. The woman, a resident in the town of Center named Debbie Reed, said that she tried to give the animal some water from her hose, but the male bighorn sheep did not partake. She assumes the ram wandered off of a farm somewhere, as the species is not native to the state, but she isn’t aware of any farms nearby that harbor such animals. The ram ended up wandering off, and was reported to have been in the nearby town of Ellington. If you see the ram or have any information on his owner, please contact the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 832-5000.
