An Illinois-based pharmaceutical company plans to start construction next month on a drug manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie. The 100-thousand-square-foot facility will cost 250-million dollars to build. Nexus Pharmaceuticals says it plans to hire 77 workers at an average salary of 70-thousand dollars-a-year. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has authorized up to one-and-a-half-million dollars in tax credits over the next four years.
