One Green Bay family has turned their love of football into a family tradition of working the season at Lambeau Field. For the Dickson family, working for Green Bay Sportservice is more than just a part-time job, it’s an opportunity to come together over the team they love. Currently four members of the family work at Lambeau Field, including Kaylynn Pawlak Dickson, who remembers her dad, Tim Dickson, starting his first day six seasons ago.
“My brother and I are twins, and my dad told us that if he started working at Lambeau, we had to as well!” said Kaylynn. That was five years ago. Now, Kaylynn, her brother Neil, and aunt Stacy have all joined Tim at the stadium.
While working at Lambeau provides “fun money” and a behind-the-scenes look at Lambeau Field for the family, the benefits run much deeper.
Tim Dickson is a single parent, and after the hard work of raising kids, Kaylynn knew he needed to have some fun, be social and get out of the house. Working at Lambeau Field has turned out to be just the experience he needed.
The Dickson family holds a variety of positions and is known throughout the stadium as always having one another’s backs. Growing up on a working farm, Tim Dickson and his kids are used to long days, problem-solving, and fast-paced work. These days though, they are working with hot dogs and Packers fans instead of livestock.
For those interested in joining the Green Bay Sportservice team, there are current positions open in concessions, beer vendors, cooks, and dishwashers. Positions are also available for the new Titletown restaurant.
